In FY 2026, the programme screened over 3,900 newborns across West Bengal, Meghalaya and Assam, enabling timely medical intervention and critical support. Parents also received counselling and guidance to help them understand and manage their child’s condition. ● General Health Check-up Camps: To improve access to preventive healthcare, Arohan, in collaboration with its partners, launched massive health check-up camps. In FY 2026, the initiative conducted more than 100 health camps across 10 states, serving over 16,970 beneficiaries. These camps offered free medical screenings for common conditions like hypertension and diabetes, along with doctor consultations, and distribution of essential medicines. In addition to diagnostics and treatment, the camps focused on raising awareness about hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention, thereby empowering underserved populations to make informed health choices.
